Our Egg Shoot has been a Diggle fixture for over 20 years and as you can see from the photograph it is extremely popular. It starts with the groundhog shoot at 100, 300 & 500 yards and finishes with a 500 yard shot on a hen’s egg. A £100 prize is on offer for anyone who breaks the egg! Any rifle, scope, rest is eligible providing you can carry it to the firing-pont and shooters get to enjoy a BBQ afterwards. The Shoot donates any surplus funds to local charities.
